In the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet), you should go back to family and nation as soon as possible and you should do the duty of a good son for the fatherland.

We wish you a Happy New Year.

This propaganda leaflet was one of many that was dropped from planes and helicopters onto villages and hamlets in Vietnam. The purpose of most of the pamphlets was to get the Viet Cong to surrender and return home. Some were dropped to let villagers know that the Americans were coming into the area and for any Viet Cong to either surrender or leave the area.
