Viet Cong Propaganda Pamphlet

This letter from a supposedly U.S. Marine defector was used by the
VC (Viet Cong) to entice U.S. Servicemen to lay down their arms and
surrender to the VC. In an e-mail to me, Cook Barela wrote:

"The enclosed copy of a letter from Earl Clyde Weatherman, serial no. 2215864
supposedly from Mike Company 3/7 I have not taken the time to check out if
such a person was assigned to Mike Company and or captured or even to see if
he is listed on the wall."

Webmaster's note: My own search efforts have shown that Earl Clyde Weatherman's name is not enscribed on The Wall in Washington, DC.
