Original Orders Home

Reproduced below are my Original Orders that sent me home from Vietnam and
ordering me to stand down from 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division
and report for duty to the 2nd Marine Division located at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina.
It is complete with all stamps and signatures.

Do not feel bad if you cannot translate the military gobble-de-gook on the orders.
Most people, even military personnel, have trouble with it also. If they say any
different they're probably guessing at the meaning of all the acronyms and
abbreviations.
